Tasting Notes/Label Text: This thick and robust stout lined with flavors of chocolate, blueberries and vanilla provide a warming reminder of our weekend spent with Åben’s founder Philip Hulgaard. Since its inception in 2017 on Philip’s family farm in Kolding, to being named the Danske Ølentustiaster’s “Årets Danske Bryggeri” in 2019, to opening a new production facility and restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen in 2022, Åben has been traveling on a fast and perpetual upward trajectory, constantly improving, innovating, collaborating and redefining what a brewery can accomplish with an “Åben” mindset.
