Tasting Notes/Label Text: Our “Danish Imperial Series” is an ever expanding series of imperial strength beers, each honoring a different individual from Denmark’s long imperial history. “Margaret of Denmark” is a Scotch Ale brewed in honor of Christian the first’s daughter Margaret. Known for her beauty and intelligence, Margaret reigned as Queen of Scotland from 1469 to 1486. This beer showcases a complex sweetness including notes of brown sugar, candied fruits, toffee and caramel that are complimented by light hints of roasted malt and low hop bitterness.
ABV: 7.3% ABV
IBU: 48 IBU
Malts: Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Abbey Malt, Chateau Chocolat
