Title: Promises Kept - Collaboration with Pleasanti Street
Style: Barrel-Aged Modern Barleywine
Tasting Notes/Label Text: “Promises Kept” is the honourable followup to “Promises Made” and the completion of our two part collaboration with Patrick Schou (the great hair and man behind Pleasanti Street). Unlike its previously released partner, “Promises Kept” has spent the last year and a half resting in French Armagnac barrels; soaking in the flavours of the wood, residual spirits and time. It is a dark, smooth, modern barleywine, with flavours of dried figs, caramel, spirit, licorice, burnt sugar, and oak with a slightly smoky finish.
