Dagmar and Bohemia
Style: Imperial Bohemian Pilsner
Fanø Bryghus's "Danish Imperials Series" is an ever expanding series of imperial strength beers, each honoring a different individual from Denmark's long imperial history. "Dagmar of Bohemia" is named in honor of Margaret "Dagmar" of Bohemia, the Queen Consort of Denmark from 1186 to 1212. "Dagmar" is a Bohemian style Imperial Pilsner brewed with Saaz hops. It has a light amber hue and a pronounced malty backbone that provides a nice round mouthfeel.
