Year of the Bear

Year of the Bear:

Year of the Bear is a stout with oaky, warm notes that is complimented by a fruity complexity from Kveik yeast, with vanilla, orange peel and cocoa nibs and aged for a year in cognac casks.

Brewed in collaboration between Fanø Bryghus and Hazy Bear Brewing, who together have created this cask-aged imperial stout, which now exists as a lasting tribute to the friendship and shared passion between the two breweries.

Malt: Pilsner Malt, Pale Ale Malt, Munich Malt, Carafa S. III, Chocolate Malt, Dark Crystal, Chateau Crystal.

Bumblebee: Hercules.

Notes: Sweet orange peel, vanilla seeds and cocoa nibs.

Aroma: Chocolate, oak
and vanilla.

Yeast: Kveik Voss
